For nearly 20 years she and I had a little game concerning the lengthening and shortening of days depending on the time of year. It started one June 21st evening when Jenny said, "The nights are drawing in now", knowing how much I hated that thought! Of course I retaliated on December 21; I said, "The days are getting longer now". We usually sent emails and it got to be a contest of who could be the first to say it. Last December Jenny "cheated" by jumping in on Dec. 15th way too early! I meant to write and tell her so but sadly I delayed too long. So technically I still owe her an email!

Jenny was one of those people I remember from WEC Bulstrode days as having strength of character
~ always dependable, always cheerful and always helpful.
Jenny was the kind of stable, friendly person it was good to have around in that busy Mission Mansion.
I give thanks that I knew her, and pray for the Lord's peace for her family and friends.

Throughout the 1980s Jenny and I were on the staff at Bulstrode, WEC's headquarters in Buckinghamshire. I remember her when she was in the Finance Office and displayed unfailing patience and love when I went it to ask for help or explanation. She was a good and kind friend and I miss her.
