One of Jenny's ministries in WEC began when she was approaching retirement herself. She became the first Retirees' Co-ordinator, visiting folk in their homes and writing to them and phoning them. One of those retirees, Mena Gilpin, commented recently on how much this ministry meant to her over the years. At 98yrs she said that Jenny never missed phoning her on her birthday and still did so shortly after her husband David died. This is typical of her selfless care of others.
